Overseeing the entire structural design process at any scale of project, big or small. We will coordinate with all subconsultants, General Contractor forces, stakeholders, etc. to ensure the successful execution of engineering projects from conception to completion.

This includes contract administration services, such as periodic site reviews, reports, and resolving site conflicts brought up through RFI’s.

New Construction

Our team will provide design services for a variety of new construction projects. Our team commonly gets involved with commercial, residential, and industrial projects, including their foundation systems.

Our team can be involved from start to finish on these projects.

Specifications

Development of detailed drawings and documents outlining the materials, standards, and construction methods to be used. This includes preparing full tender documents, review of submitted bid prices, and CCDC 2 stipulated price contracts.

Building Additions

Designing and integrating new structural elements seamlessly with existing structures. This incorporates structural analysis to implement alterations used to accommodate expanding the original space.

Work often requires an extensive knowledge of the original base building structure and its many material types.

M&E Upgrades

Enhancing the existing building's structural elements to accommodate new or upgraded mechanical and electrical systems. This can include sustainability net zero upgrade initiatives involving as cooling towers, Air Handling Units (AHU), Make Up Air (MUA) units, solar reviews, rooftop units, etc.

Involved from initial planning to the final crane lift, we can help to ensure seamless integration and compliance with engineering standards.

Home Renovations

Modifying the existing structural components to improve safety, functionality, or aesthetics while ensuring compliance with building codes and standards.

This can include removing a load bearing wall in a house, creating openings through the foundation wall for a new walkout, assessing an existing home with a Tarion Warranty claim, etc.

Mechanical & Electrical

Our firm offers mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design services. We work with our client to develop the optimal design for air conditioning, space heating, HVAC ventilation etc. as these systems typically interact with each other to ensure optimal humidity and temperature, good ventilation, and minimal pollution. This ties into the work we do for plumbing, which includes laying pipe routes for hot and normal water. We can specify booster or pressure pumps for the various applications for this in high-rise construction and existing buildings being serviced. Lastly, we include for mapping the optimal wiring and conduit routes to ensure no conflict with other installations or disciplines.

This combination of work has led to Net Zero initiatives taken from feasibility stage to their installation for apartment rental buildings and commercial developments.
